in advanced family processes, we talk about all parts of dating and relationships. it is one place we can all talk about sex and nobody shifts uncomfortably. we all find it fascinating.
from monday in class:
professor: *unusually excited* today we're talking about sex! my favorite subject!
me: *falling the heck OUT of my chair laughing*
professor: *also laughing* ha..ha...no, really, though, it's one of my research emphases.

professor: so, based on your surveys about expectations of sex, how many of you think 0-3 times a week?
(only married people raise their hands.)
professor: NO, guys, not how many times you ACTUALLY do it! *face gets redder every second and starts cracking up* okay, let's try again..

professor: oh, boy...never mind.
me: *dying laughing again*

i was one of the immature people who wrote "EVERY NIGHT!!" down for how often newlyweds should be getting their freak on, by the way...completely knowing that was probably not the case for most. turns out, some people were writing down impossibly higher numbers. glad to know we were all completely serious about it. i love college :)
