every time i listen to this song, i get this little smile on my face. even when i'm running, i find myself smiling and mouthing the words along with jammil. i mean, listen to these lyrics:

needless to say, it's so much prettier and more lyrical in portuguese. i think i had to ask about five people about this song when i first heard it in vitoria da conquista. i only knew the melody of the first part of the chorus, but, eventually, i got the name of the song and the artist. i thought about this last week, and i quickly searched for the song and found it. i have fallen more in love with it here at home. i think i will have to explain this song to my future husband, if he doesn't end up understanding portuguese. i mean, the whole latin language thing will already have him falling even more in love with me, but the lyrics are just so pretty to go not understood. seriously.
other reason this should be my wedding song -- pretty sure no one will have used it as their wedding song. always a plus.
